OT: Don't forget about Campfire Girls/Boys Candies too! |

Just thought I would plug Campfire candies. My sister was a Campfire Girl for 7 years and since we lived in a small city her group was always in direct sales
competition with Girl Scouts, and unfortunately because of lack of recognition their sales often suffered. So if you see a cute little child wearing a a red or
blue outfit with a flame patch on the vest and white shirt selling candy definitely get some; I think it's still $3 a box and the creamy mints are devine!

Oh most definitely! And if anyone here has a child selling, I will gladly support!!!
I was a Campfire Girl, gosh it seems like forever when I was in school (I recently found in a box my old Bluebird uniform) so I am always happy to support Campfire!

I'll have to be on the lookout for the cookies/candies. I've never heard of or seen Campfire Girls.
Edited to say: Now I know why I've never seen any Campfire Girls...There aren't any within 2-3 hours from my home.

I will watch for a Campfire Girl. What about Boy Scout Popcorn? In my opinion, a bit pricey, but they are kids....................

I never heard of Campfire Girls until I was an adult! I just looked up their locator. The nearest councils are 3-4 hours away.
